Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to know how to use the app with your new subscription. Click here for instructions on how to install SketchBook on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. You will need to select the platform you need and follow the instructions from there.
IMPORTANT When you first install Autodesk SketchBook, no matter whether it is on a device, laptop, or desktop machine, you’ll need to log into the app. This will switch you from the free version (a subset of the tools) to the subscription version (the full feature set).
How do you know if you are running the subscription version?
Select the option that applies to you:
- For mobile user of the trial version, in the toolbar, you will notice dots below a lot of the tools. This dot indicates the feature is a Pro feature. These tools will disappear once your trial is over.
- For mobile users of the subscription version, in the toolbar, when you tap , you will see more than four tools. If you only see four, you’re using the free version. You will need to log in.
- For desktop users of the trial version, in the toolbar, it will indicate you are in the trial version (which provides you access to all the Pro features).
- For desktop users of the subscription version, in the toolbar, it will indicate whether you are in the free or subscription version.
